Idiom of the Day: ! When you are “getting the munchies,” you are craving food, especially snacks that are unhealthy for you. We will call these types of snacks “junk food.” But “getting the munchies” doesn’t necessarily only include snacks. It can also be your favorite unhealthy (but delicious!) bar food. Pizza and beer, chicken wings, and even fast food like Taco Bell or McDonalds will satisfy your cravings when you “get the munchies.”
