Hello! I want to write an email to my shodo teacher. It doesn
’t have to be perfect, but can you understand what I’m asking her?
Would you please look at my kana practice?
I used the kana shodo dictionary, but I don’t know the rules. So I just made it up.
Can you please tell me if it’s really bad or if it’s embarrassing to look at? 😅
I think it looks too *literal, maybe.
Should I just stop trying until I learn more?
**Thank you!
*is 字面 the right word here? Too “literal,” too obvious? Often kana shodo is harder to read because of artistic writing style...mine might be too plain.
** How should I say “thank you” when asking for a favor?
