    @遍野 She loves them too! She has had pink rain boots since she could walk. We replace them as she grows. She always wants to wear them.

    @a drop in the ocean 这 this 小 little 女孩 girl 真 true (in this case, used as a verb like "is") 可爱 cute. 是 Is 你 you 女儿 daughter 吗 ? 这 This 女孩 girl太好great/very good看了saw/watched (in this case, I think more like "looks", Chinese tenses don't translate well) Your sentence structure sometimes is in a very different order than ours, and the words you use don't always match our grammar. But I can still understand the meaning 🙂

    我 I 写 writing (this character I didn't know, I had to look it up) 的 possessive 字 word (I also had to look this up because I always confuse it with a similar character).(I take this meaning to be something like "my written words" or less redundant "my words") 你 you 能 can 看 see明白understand 吗? (You can understand what you see?) Combined it's like "You can understand my words/what you read?" My Chinese is very basic haha. I can read a bit but its hard to form sentences on my own. I need to practice more but I am busy lately. Why use 能 instead of 可以 in that sentence?
