Have you ever seen a Passion Flower (a.k.a. Passiflora)? 😲

In Japanese, the passion flower is known as the clock flower / plant.

Do you think it looks like a clock?

The passion flower is the flower of the passion fruit, but not all flowers bear fruit.

The flower is beautiful, however it only blooms for 1 day!

But if you take a picture, you can enjoy the passion flower's beauty forever!

@あゆみ ayumi You can grow passion flowers and passion fruits in Okinawa? That's wonderful! 行きたいな〜 Passion fruit juice is delicious. In countries like Brazil they often add passion fruit juice in fruit cocktails.🍹😊

I asked this question to a Japanese friend, and she said that she has never seen passion fruits at the grocery store in Japan.

  • Toshimi

Your japanease is really good! ☺️

It’s a strong plant so we can see it in many places in Japan.😃
