Hi I just wanted to make a little comment on some of the messages

I've received. Nothing bad don't worry ☺️. I've noticed the use of different greetings that are a little strange to receive from people I don't know.

For example:

"Nice to see you." - it's a bit weird to me because in messages you don't see the other person so whenever I get this I feel like I'm being watched 😆😆.
- "Nice to meet you" is probably a bit more appropriate 😊.

"How do you do" - while this is correct it is very outdated and is not really used anywhere in England unless you are a character in Downton Abbey.
- "How are you?" is perfectly fine to use.

"Nice to meet you here" - this isn't as bad but to me it kind of implies that you have met me before and it doesn't feel very natural sounding if you are a complete stranger.
- "Nice to meet you" once again is okay to use ☺️.

This might just be me overthinking a little but I noticed it a lot and thought it could help some people with their greetings. ☺️

    @Amethyst okay~thanks👀
  • Amethyst

    @Yasmine if they asked you first you can ask them how they are as well. Then you can ask simple questions to get to know them, maybe about studies. Just maybe nothing too personal straight away. ☺️
