To be honest, I am afraid to talk on call in a foreign language

.... I never practice speaking and hardly listen to anything for understanding when spoken to.... I feel sad. I'm shy... so I never practice with anyone ^^"...I only know how to read and write. 😭🙇‍♀️ I'm sorry.

    It seems to be much more comfortable talking to someone when you already know them a little. If you chat a few times, it will be easier to talk with audio afterwards. Well, and the more conversations you have with different people, the easier it is to start talking the next time. A lot depends on the nature of the person. If a person is shy, it is difficult for him or her to talk to strangers even in their own language, let alone in a foreign language. Getting to know someone beforehand will therefore make it easier to start a conversation. 😊

    Кажется, что будет намного комфортнее говорить с человеком, когда ты с ним уже немного знаком. Если пообщаться несколько раз в чате, то потом будет легче поговорить с аудио. Ну, и чем больше разговоров с разными людьми, тем легче начать говорить в следующий раз. От характера человека многое зависит. Если человек стеснительный, то ему трудно говорить с незнакомцами даже на родном языке, тем более на иностранном. Поэтому предварительное знакомство облегчит начало разговора. 😊

    @HM モーク星雲 I feel your pain but once you step out of your comfort zone you're gonna love it It's like to hesitate before swimming cuz the water seems so damn cold but after you ducked you like oh it's so nice lol

    It's the same with me. When I start talking, I start to get nervous and make mistakes even in simple things that I already know. But after I made a mistake, I mentally correct myself and this only strengthens my knowledge. 😉

    I would dare to give a kind advice. Look at the foreigners learning your native language (English), how do they manage this issue, you encounter with, and then act the same vice versa. I suggest to watch the "Seven rules of speaking English" by A.J.Hoge (the most successful tutor of English for foreigners), replace English in those rules with your target language and go on as well, it will work the same. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvckz0aC6Uw0E75xE2Z0gzu9tA5D9M-Ks

    The more you do, the better you get! I didn't used to speak Englsih at all, but now I teach classes at a college in US. I am still learning every day, but I have came a long way. I'm also shy, but I enjoy meeting/talking to new people. Speaking a different language is awesome! It's okay to make mistakes or not understanding when you talk. Be kind to yourself and know it's okay to be sucking at it. I have been sucking at speaking since I started learning. We are here to learn! Let's have fun. Who cares I suck at speaking English? 🤷‍♂️lol

    @Orthopedics Jin T_ T. In Chinese class... I was a "mute" Chinese. I can listen, read, and write.... But can not speak. So at work... Because I work at a Chinese company... I listen then write down my answer for the person to read....
