Ryan’s Word Of The Day: Knackered (adj.)

Meaning: Very tired

/exhausted

Example (1): “After working an awful lot over November and December I was completely knackered but after a few days off in early January I now feel refreshed.”

Example (2): “I’ve been dating this super hot British guy with a totally gorgeous accent but last night he said he couldn’t go on our date because he’s knackered. Like, what does that even mean? I’ve never heard that word before. Oh my gosh, it’s like a different language!”

See ya!
