“To have your hands full”

Commonly used idiom.

✔️You can say your “hands are full” when you are already so busy or have so much work to do that you don’t have time to help anyone else or do anything else.

✔️Examples
•I have my hands full with all these meetings today, so can I call you back tomorrow?

•Paula cannot watch your kids because she has her hands full with her sister’s kids.

•I feel bad I can’t help you with your project because my hands are full. I have my own project.

•My mom can’t go on vacation with us because her hands are full with running her restaurant. That’s the bad thing about owning a restaurant.

✔️OR ... if someone asks you “Can you help me with this...

You can simply reply “Sorry, my have are full.” This means “Sorry, I’m busy. I can’t.”
