One of the 3 furnaces in China, known for the hot and humid summer, Chongqing became the youngest municipality in 1997 directly under the central government. It replaced Tokyo to become the world's largest metropolitan. It is a city in the mountains, surrounded by two rivers, and has graceful high-rise buildings.
Must visit places in Chongqing include Hongyadong and Ciqikou ancient town. You must also remember to take the two-rivers cruise at night.
