O Rio de Janeiro foi uma cidade que sempre quis conhecer. A

famosa cidade de sol, praia, pessoas em forma, caipirinhas e obsessão por futebol sempre me chamou a atenção, e no mês passado finalmente consegui visitá-la. A cidade a que cheguei, porém, estava chuvosa e envolta em nuvens, irreconhecível para mim por todas as imagens que tinha visto dela. Infelizmente, os primeiros 4 dias foram assim, mas quando o sol finalmente apareceu, o lugar da minha imaginação finalmente ganhou vida.

Rio de Janeiro was a city that I had always wanted to visit. The famed city of sun, beach, fit people, caipirinhas, and football obsession had always beckoned to me, and this past month I finally got to visit it. The city that I arrived in, however, was rainy and shrouded with clouds, unrecognizable to me from all the images I had seen of it. Unfortunately, the first 4 days were like this, but when the sun finally came out, the place of my imaginations finally sprang to life.
