Hey everyone! So I see a lot of people using “cause” thinking

it’s the abbreviation of “because”, I know it’s because when native speakers speak they say “cuz” (slang) which sounds like “cause”
Because - implying the reason for something
Cause - the effect of something
Example: I like you because you’re funny
She was the cause of their breakup
If you’re using it as an abbreviation you’ll write it as ‘cause with the apostrophe in front! Hope that helps!
