Tan: Ano, Suzuki San no uchi wa dochira desu
ka?
Tan: Suzuki, where is your home?
Tan: あのう、 すずきさんの うちは どちらですか。

Suzuki: Katong desu.
Suzuki: It’s at Katong.
Suzuki: カトンです。

Tan: Kaisha wa dochira desu ka?
Tan: Where is your office?
Tan: かいしゃは どちらですか。

Suzuki: Toyota desu.
Suzuki: It’s at Toyota.
Suzuki: とよたです。

Tan: Toyota wa nan no kaisha desu ka?
Tan: What kind of company is Toyota?
Tan: とよたは なんの かいしゃですか。

Suzuki: Toyota wa kuruma no kaisha desu.
Suzuki: It’s an automobile company.
Suzuki: とよたは くるまのかいしゃです。
