In Hong Kong we eat Mooncakes during

Mid Autumn Festival. It is now also popular to get Ice Cream Mooncakes instead of the traditional ones which are filled with e.g. sweet lotus seed paste and whole salted egg yolks.

@Megu They promote it as moon cakes, but it is actually just high quality ice cream. I think traditional moon cakes taste much more special, but is unfortunately too rich in calories🤤

@Megu We meet with family members to eat Geppei and drink strong chinese tea because the cake is often very sweet. I think I would like Japanese dango too...with Japanese green tea.

お月見アイス🍨、おいしそうですね😋 我が家では毎年、白玉粉ともち粉を混ぜてお団子を作ります🎑。今年は娘から『焼き団子にしてほしい』とリクエストがありました😅。お月見には白いお団子のイメージがありますが、焼き団子もおいしいので明日の仲秋の名月は焼き団子にします😆

OMG! I forgot to eat つきみだんご(moon appreciating sweet rice dumplings)😄. It's cloudy tonight in my area tonight, so I cannot see the moon.
