Note: I recently decided to start keeping a song journal and chose this song as the first one I wanted to interpret. It definitely pulls out some strong emotions for me and I may have even cried once or twice while listening to it... Feel free to give me some thoughts/comments about it 😊 (Also, it is an interpretation and not a translation, so I wrote what I feel the lyrics mean rather than their literal translation.)

    @沧浪 I’ve used traditional characters since I started learning Chinese so it’s a habit, but I do know Simplified as well

    @Diego Thank you! I really wasn’t trying to show my handwriting, I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I actually just wanted to share my interpretation. I think this looks worse than it should because I used a large pen so the ink was thick as well 😅

    @Cloris I think traditional makes more sense, is prettier, and I have used it since I started learning Chinese, but I can read and write simplified just as easily.

    The character 緑 you wrote is not so common. We usually use 綠 instead.

    @楊富晴 So you could say it is wrong, but I wrote it this way on purpose. Though I did write 来 instead of 來 and also I used the odd variant 緑 of 綠 by mistake. However, I purposefully wrote 纔 and 瞭解 I’m these ways because I like them

    Sorry, I don't know 纏and才 are same words,because in Taiwan they are different words,but I know 來 and 来 or 綠 and 绿 are same just traditional and simplified.
