After supper last night around 8 pm when it was still daylight

I took a walk around our little village, across the open fields with barley crops catching the sunlight , gleaming golden all around. I love it in summer when the days are long and it doesn’t get dark till 10 at night. But this will pass all too soon when Autumn approaches.
