I'm a dog person. haha😂 BTW, calico cat translates to the word 三毛猫（Mike Neko) in Japanese. Mike(三毛) means three colors hair, also Neko(猫) means cat.😊

Calico cats are normally female (98-99% of them). the calico color is linked to female sex. There are exceptions of course, but male calico cats are usually sterile.
