oil fried vs air fry oven method. 🤔 Air fried is dark inside but healthier without the added oil. 🤔 Taste is okay. 🤔

@Victor oh regular 春巻皮! What would you call the fried spring rolls with rice paper but the inside is just like this food...? I think it’s called nem ran but I can be wrong lol I’m leaning Vietnamese food to cook some for my Vietnamese dad some day haha

Little backstory, my grandfather was a white man/officer in the army. I don't know much details but my grandma said that's how my mother was born. Never saw him after the Vietnam war either. Don't know if he was American or French. 🤷‍♂️ What a mystery. 😂

@Fiona668 Well I was born here wouldn't you think I am already a citizen? 🤣 I grew up speaking English and Vietnamese with my family. I also went to Vietnamese school on the weekends when I was a child, so everyday life for me was school no vacation. 😂

@Steve Lau Well there's two different types, spring rolls and egg rolls. The egg rolls here is more crispy with more meat fillings than the spring rolls which is often can be baked or fried. Spring rolls typically have more vegetables in them too. Eggrolls are usually only fried in oil and dipped in egg. 👌
