This week has been so hectic with all my work, school deadlines

, and errands 😩 But even when I am super stressed with stuff, I always make time to cook or bake something. Ever since my highschool years, the kitchen has become my "zen" space and a major part of my routine for relaxing.

Here's a little recap of some of my food this week! I basically just love food...and eating it 😊

-seafood and veg noodle soup 🍜
-baked PB&J pancakes with some yogurt and bananas 🥞
-stir fried veg and seafood soba noodles 🍝
-herbal tea and fruits 🍒🥝
-taco bowls and fruity sparkling water 🌮
-matcha macchiato with sago pearls 🍵

Also, I found Canadian themed gummies in the store yesterday! Aren't the shapes absolutely adorable?🍁Can you guess what they all are?

@flyinggoat contrary to their name, wine gums actually don't usually contain any alcohol in them! 😂

@flyinggoat honestly, I was really curious about that at first too, because growing up, I always thought they had alcohol. But apparently, the person who created them a loooong time ago made the gummy candies and sold them as an alternative to alcohol! If you wanted to learn more about it, this wiki page might be a good place to start 😁 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine_gum

@Nausheen Despite the fact that the flavours often sport names like "port", "sherry", and "gin", wine gums actually aren't made with any alcohol at all. In fact, the creator was from a strict Methodist household, and his father almost fired him when he'd heard he was selling something with 'wine' in the name. While the reason why they're called "wine gums" is a bit of a mystery, there are two strong theories, one stating that wine gums were so-called in an attempt to lure people away from alcohol, giving them a flavourful substitute, the other theory being that the texture of these gums make them much more lingering and nuanced than other confections, allowing you to savour them like a fine wine. =>my theory is that the son wanted to troll his father so he called it'wine gum' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣it would be funny if he did that.

@flyinggoat lol your theory is probably the most likely! It's definitely what I would've done if I were him 😂 and no worries! I like sharing the random information I've collected over the years 😁
