1学期最後の授業で、小学3年生の子達は２ヶ月間 学んできた

I like... I don’t like... Do you like…？を使って、みんなの前で好きなものなどを発表しました！✨

During my final lesson with my 3rd graders before summer break, we did a review activity using “I like/I don’t like/Do you like?”

Each student stood up and shared what they liked, disliked, or wanted to know 😆

🐵：トマトはもっと英語っぽく「トメイト」って言わにゃ〜！

🐢：green peppers 😂

🐵：ピーマンは英語じゃないんだ！😱

🐶：グリーンパパ？👨🏻💚

🐢：uhh.. close! 😂😂

Later, my teeny tiny 2nd graders brought me two green peppers from their garden.

See how shiny these green peppers are? ✨

That’s how shiny and sparkly my 2nd graders’ eyes became when they learned the word “green” 😂

    @yuri ahhh, I see I think it can classified as , somewhat from the same family But depending on where you’re from, there Is a difference I may have seen both terms at my supermarket before hahahha 🤔

    ちなみに、ピーマンの由来はフランス語のpiment(トウガラシ🌶)だって(=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ 変な意味では無かったよ😜

    @Felicia I’ve never heard of capsicum before. Maybe it’s just my state, but we just call them (color) + bell pepper Like red bell pepper, orange bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper 😂 The reason why I didn’t say “bell pepper” in class was because I think the Japanese ピーマン is a different kind of pepper from the kind they sell in the States
