Hope you are all well and things are getting back to normal

in China! It appears to be our turn now to deal with the virus, it's a pretty scary time for the world.

My country seems reluctant to close things down, the schools are still open and we have only half heartedly been asked to not go to restaurants and bars, which are still allowed to be open. There is no great effort to test for the virus within the community, I could not get a test easily, unless I became ill enough to go to the hospital.

I fear many lives will be lost unnecessarily because of inaction. At the moment I am feeling well and will be spending a month indoors next week when my university goes online, much opportunity to study 汉语 on the brightside!
