Idiom of the Day

“On the fence”

If you are “on the fence,”

it means you are not sure what to do or what decision to make. In most cases, it will usually involve making a decision about two different possibilities. You can be “on the fence” about choosing hamburgers or sushi for dinner. You can also be “on the fence” to attend a party or not. It is like the idiom is asking you, “which side of the fence do you want to be on?” - but you don’t really know what to choose.

We're at the restaurant and One of my friends suggested to eat pasta with meatballs but the other one suggested to eat A Macdonald's meal with fried potatoes. Both meals are my favorites, Now I'm on the fence 🤦
