This is Australia.

Yesterday it was 41 degrees. So hot. Devastatingly

, a bushfire started and is still burning out of control today despite concerted efforts by firefighters to extinguish the flames. Some people have lost their homes; many have fled to safety.

Today it has been raining. It has rained continuously for about 3 hours. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to stop the fires.

    @Kei Saito Accidental or deliberate human activity. Sometimes lightning. Australian land is very dry in summer.
