つかれた！- I am so tired!

Today, I had a three part adventure. A

high elevation trail, a historic railroad photo shoot and a drive through a hailstorm with some great photo opportunities along the way.

Because it's so late tonight, let me just talk about the first part and share some shots. It was a trail to a small lake with 535 meters in elevation gain reaching 3660 meters high at the top and 10.1 km in length.

There was not too much wildlife to be spotted, but a good amount of flowers and many streams along with the main creek to follow all the way to the top. At the higher part, there were two snow fields to cross and the lake itself was still partially covered with ice.

I was concerned about the gathering clouds, not so much because of the possibility of rain, but because I did not want to lose the sunlit views.
