日本人に「a」と「the」の違いを説明するのは外国人に「は」と「が」の違いを説明するほど難しいと思う。無理だよ！😅

think that explaining the difference between ‘a’ and ‘the’ to Japanese people is as difficult as explaining the difference between ‘は’ and ‘が’ to foreigners. It’s impossible! lol

    I think they’re kind of similar, that we use は for things everybody knows about, like 空は青い(sky is blue) 鳥は飛ぶ( birds fly) And we use が for specific things or new informations, things you point out, 空が赤い( sky is red but it’s specific state of sky, sky is not usually red) 鳥が飛んでいる( the birds are flying, you’re talking about specific birds that you’re watching now) So A and The have kind of similar aspects with them I think.
