I’ve noticed that a lot of people give up on HelloTalk quickly

    @anming Wow! I see that under your profile pic it indicates that you are fully fluent in EN and CN. I’ve always wanted to learn Canadian and with you being from a border state, you must have a lot of experience communicating with people from that culture. Can you please correct any errors in my practice sentences that follow? A Coffee Crisp costs about a Loonie, pretty good deal eh? I’d like aboot a dozen Timbits with a large double double please.     😍I am learning a lot 🌹 HT is helping me to improve my English and now also Japanese. The fact of not living in a foreign country where people do not use the English language make things more difficult since after a day of studying you can not practice what you learned , I mean "I couldn't", now I can. Every day I spend a lot of time here using the target language, I have friends who are more qualified than me, and they correct me and give me the easier direction in this difficult path.     @김유민 Zee I’m glad to hear that you made a lot of friends too! I think most people download this app expecting people to come flocking over to teach them for free. They forget that they need to help other people and also go searching for other people.

    I spoke a little about this topic here but I just got argued down that i was wrong and maybe I’m just using it for wrong intentions, I’ve been in this app for 4 years I’ve met my best friends on this app and improved my Korean so much. I still have a lot to learn but I think (this app specifically) people aren’t using it for what it’s made for anymore.
