Ode to my husband

Tomorrow, 4 February is my wedding anniversary

. I met my guy when I was only sixteen and by eighteen I was head over heels in love. Many years have passed but I am still in love with him.

He is a conundrum. He is quiet, soft spoken, calm and pragmatic. He is funny, strong, dramatic, passionate and intense, with a loud voice at times. He makes me giggle every day.

My husband is my rock and my stability. He is my champion, the one I run to when everything is going wrong. He releases me to explore but brings me back to earth when I need it.

I am very grateful for the day when our paths crossed.
