English Practice: Winter Time

Background:

Last week, Chicago

had a lot of snow and then it got extremely cold outside. My dogs stayed warm by laying down by the fire and also on the couch.

English Phrase: Left out in the cold

Discussion Question: Do you like cold weather? Why or why not?

Sometime i donot like cold weather,it's so freezing that i have to stay at home cannot go outside ,but sometime i like it,because we can go to skiing😄😄

Hi, here’s Sean’s voice from China. From my view, it depends. I won’t care much about the weather if I can watch movies at my house with my girlfriend, especially we have an air-conditioner, but since I don’t have ‘one’, I hate the cold weather and staying at home makes no sense. Even if there’s beautiful snow outside, I cannot enjoy it and the feeling “cold” makes me suffer. Here the Winter hasn’t gone, and I think Spring won’t come very soon.
