Just when I was thinking about playing with my cat and the new toys I bought, this little guy is already sitting in the box.

なんか、買ってきた玩具より段ボール箱の方が好きみたいなんだけど。
I kind of feel like you like cardboard boxes more than the toys I buy for you.

何でやねん、玩具を買うのに意味あるの？
Like why, is there a point in me buying you toys?

まあ、玩具も好きみたいし、少なくとも無意味じゃないか。
Well, you seem to like the toys as well so at least it wasn't pointless.
