Today, a light went out in my life
But instead of sadness I feel

as though a spark ignited my Energy.
My beautiful mum taught me the gift of English.
Not only how beautiful English is, But how to use it beautifully.

The other skills that she left me with are these:
Be kind to others
Especially those less fortunate than you
It’s easier to do a good turn, than a bad one
Help, don’t hinder
Why be sad, there is so much to be happy about
