I was too sad to post this yesterday. I was in Okinawa last week

but I didn’t visit Shuri Castle because I had been there only two years ago. I thought I could visit it again any time.

I worry about the loss of tourist income for the people in and around Naha.

I trust that it will be rebuilt as it has so many times in the past so until then I’ll try and go to Okinawa once a year from now on if I can. Don’t cancel your trip.

It was a very sad news.. Some of my friends who live in Okinawa had a plan to visit Syuri Castle next weekend. They thought Syuri Castle was always there for them and they could visit any time they wanted... But they said that the news have them realized that there is nothing being a parmanent...😭
