Meaning: Old, outdated
Example (1): “When I got my first mobile phone, which was one of the first Nokia’s, I thought it was amazing and so high tech but now it’s archaic.”
Example (2): “Sadly some people still have completely incorrect and archaic views of women, race, human rights and religion.”
P.S. If you still like something that is considered old or outdated, such as a computer game or style of clothing it can be described as ‘classic’ or ‘retro’.
