One thing in Korea I struggle a lot with is clothing, I always

read about how its pretty conservative here especially with low cut tops thus I try to avoid but when its really hot outside its been hard to go out when I see people all covered on a hot day I always wonder how they do it.
Now and then I see girls wearing lower cut tops outside and I feel shocked, because I wouldn't be brave enough to wear those here, I brought a lot of tops to Korea for summer but never wear outside because I realise they're too low and dont wish to be judged for it. Its weird going from a place that doesn't care at all to a place that doesn't like it so much, I've been told this isn't as big of a deal as before but the judging still concerns me...

I’m not a girl but as a person who used to live in England for a while I can understand what you are concerned about. You don’t need to worry about it actually but still streotyped custom exists. Please don’t push yourself too much. I’m certain Korea is not that much conservative any more.

I see many girls wearing crop tops on the streets these days. It is not conservative as before I think.

@거북이 Crop tops are short at the bottom its being low cut at top which I feel more stigma around

@Bernice I can relate you. I also want to give a good impression to other people but if you meet good people, they will not judge you easily. You can wear whatever you want.

Oh I don’t know the correct name of the girls clothes. What is low cut? The one reveals your cleavage? That is rare to be seen in Korea yes.

We don’t judge you with clothing and you don’t need to care what you wear! Maybe you could get attention from people but it doesn't mean they judge you cuz of the clothing. You can wear what you want, that’s your right :)

Don't mind the Korean people and just wear them comfortably. If you care about that, you get tired.
