I honestly don't really get why people use this app as a hook

up site. I mean, there are SO many other apps where you can find cute girls, so why do you have to use this one as a dating app too?

    I think the majority just want to learn. I installed this app with the only aim is to be able to find the right language partner. I just want to practise languages and be fluent at them as fast as possible, but why is it so difficult to find the right one??? Sometimes I even wonder people here really want to learn languages or not? (Arrg! I should post this on my moments)

    I talked and chatted with many people and have hardly met the cases of people who flirt or show any bad behavior of hooking-up intentions. But the problem is I feel that most of them just download this app and want to learn languages for fun without seriousness. Being able to master a foreign language require a lot of passion, perseverance and patience, but most of them are so reluctant and hesitant to give those. They expect too much from their language partner here and want him/her to act as a teacher who can answer all questions and teach them everything from the basics. I said the majority wants to learn, but that's the way of learning without giving much effort and patience. I want to find a person with the same seriousness and full energy and passion and perseverance just like me.

    I agree with what you're saying, but I don't have an issue with that. Everyone has their own priorities and sometimes they don't match with ours. That's okay. At least they are here to learn. I think when people use this app for other intentions that's a bigger problem.
