Hello everyone!

My English tip for today is on the phrase “screw

up” screw up means to make a mistake or to do something badly or wrong.

For example: I screwed up my homework assignment yesterday, so I am pretty sure I got a bad grade.

This is a pretty common phrase here in the United States so it is likely something you will hear from time to time.

I hope you found this helpful! Thanks guys!

I screwed up the project that my boss assigned me, he must blame me tomorrow. By the way, I want to ask whether it is used "make a mistake" deliberately or not? Thanks Ben!!😃😃

@Maggie I suppose it may be- in a written document I might use “messed up” but nobody will every question your use of screwed up in conversation
