My English tip for today is on the phrase “screw

up” screw up means to make a mistake or to do something badly or wrong.

For example: I screwed up my homework assignment yesterday, so I am pretty sure I got a bad grade.

This is a pretty common phrase here in the United States so it is likely something you will hear from time to time.
