Have you heard of POMODORO TECHNIQUE?

It is one of the most

popular time management method that will help improve your focus and increase productivity. Here’s how it’s done:

1.) PICK A TASK - Study, work or any project.

2.) START A 25 MINUTE TIMER - Get to work without any interruption.

3.) 3-5 MINUTE BREAK - When the time is up, give yourself a short break.

4.) REPEAT - Start the timer again and repeat 2 and 3.

5.) LONG BREAK - After your fourth session, take a 15-30 minute break.

If you have not done this before, try to consider this method. See if it works for you. Good luck 💪

    To get more of it, I would recommend the free course in coursera (platform) which is called "learning how to learn" it explains this method and more useful techniques. There are also other books I will suggest 😉. Very interesting topic👍

    Yeah, It quite useful to those who can not concentrate and to those also who over concentrate. However, I believe type 2 shall not be more than 1%. Hence, will help to majority of people.

    @Goal0321 Oh, very interesting regarding Type 1 and Type 2. Are you referring to “Enneagram Personality Trait” or something else? Actually, the main purpose of this is to stay focus on a single task. That includes minimizing or eliminating any distraction. So the person is already focused to begin with. The reason for the time separation and breaks is to give your body and brain a rest. Have you heard of the “Ultradian Rhythm”? According to research, our brain cycles from highest attention to lowest attention every 90 minutes. It means, we can only maintain focus for 90 to 120 minutes before our brain needs to rest or recharge. The Pomodoro suggests only shorter minutes. The forced breaks help cure that burn-out feeling, stress and anxiety. Again, this method is not for everyone. It’s a matter of personal preference. But with commitment and self discipline, all things are possible ☺️🙏

    Well usually if i have sth not really hard which takes a short time I do it at once I never take a break but if it takes a long time I tend to devide it on 2 which means i only take one break (10mnt) .... because for me if i take many breaks even if it's for a couple of minutes I'll got distracted.

    @Gigi Gigigigigigi 😍🥰😍. Most people modify this method by using 30 mins instead of 25 mins. Then they do their 3-5 mins break and repeat. Like yourself, some people work longer minutes because they don’t like to get interrupted especially when they’re getting into that deep work zone. It’s better off working within your “ultradian rhythm”, which i mentioned above. This is your body’s natural energy and alertness cycle. Usually for 90-120 minute increments. Then give your brain a rest for 15-20 minutes. So yeah, we have time for our HT, Discord, Tiktok and name them all 😂☺️✌️
