I miss my home, the lessons, the struggles, the simple life.

The city is not the same anymore.

Would you know how to get your own food if no stores existed? Plant, reap, and harvest your own garden? Would you know how to filter your own drinking water? Build a fire? Navigate with no phone? Hunt? Skin and butcher your own meat?

I am thankful my father blessed me with these skills. I used to think the city was real life but now I see how I took my real life for granted.

I miss real living.
