Al usar palabras como “recommend” o “suggest” no tienes que usar

la palabra “me” pero si quieres usarla, debes usar la palabra “to” o “for” también. Veamos unos ejemplos. Hay dos maneras que puedes decir estas frases:

¿Puedes sugerirme una nueva serie de Netflix?
Can you suggest me a new Netflix series? ❌
Can you suggest a new Netflix series? ✅
Can you suggest a new Netflix series for me? ✅

¿Puedes recomendarme un buen libro?
Can you recommend me a good book? ❌
Can you recommend a good book? ✅
Can you recommend a good book to me? ✅

¿Puedes explicarme lo que pasó?
Can you explain me what happened? ❌
Can you explain what happened? ✅
Can you explain to me what happened? ✅

@Peruviana learner They can be used interchangeably in these cases. But it is more common to not use either one.

Hi, thanks for share this post, I have some questions about it. 1. Can I use "for" or "to" in the same cases? 2. Can I say "Can you recommend to me a good book?" Thanks in advance!
