Ryan’s Phrase Of The Day: Raincheck

Meaning: Change the time

/delay.

Example (1): “I’m sorry but can we take a raincheck on tonight’s dinner. I have to work overtime.”

Example (2): “The meeting has been rainchecked to tomorrow because the boss is still out of town.”
