しゅうまつの一日をむすめといっしょにすごしました。- I spent a good weekend day with mydaughter.
This always happens. I take a lot of photos. When I want to write about my day I expect to pick nine that are worthy of showing and move on. However, I invariably find myself unable to trim it down to just the nine and then I have to do multiple posts to fit it all in.
Here is another example of this! 😂
Today was time spent down the hill. Let me explain what I mean. I live at an elevation of 2300 meters in the foothills above Denver, Colorado. Denver is at 1600 meters and the outskirts of the city where I am often spending time (such as I was today) is at 1700 meters. That elevation difference means that when seasons change, there is a delay of maybe two to three weeks between the lower and higher elevations. When I go to the mountains I am often at 3200 meters or higher, so that is again a different climate zone. That's how I get to post photos of deep snow followed by flowers on subsequent days sometimes 😁.
But back to my story. We spent a pleasant several hours "down the hill". I can state that spring has arrived in the city! It is not green everywhere of course, most trees are just now starting to sprout leaves, but I found a lot of different blooms today and I had a blast with my camera once again!
I have a variety of colors to show you from today. My favorites are the blues and the white flowering trees. No idea what they are.
Here is the first part then. Part two shall follow tomorrow... ✨
