One thing I’ve noticed about Asian culture is that they are very

interested in food. It is considered normal to ask someone “have you eaten?” in many countries. If you were to ask that here in Australia, the person will either wonder why you’re interested in their eating habits, or they will think that you are hoping you haven’t eaten yet so they can eat with you.

@如鱼得水 your speed is good, but your pronunciation of some words was incorrect. You should finish each word fully - for example “in-ter-rest-ed” and “ea-ten” are two words that you should finish 🙂

It's interesting. I haven't thought like that before. I just thought everyone in the world is interested in food.😂

It’s just greetings like good evening or something . we often say it when we encounter colleagues or acquaintances around meal time. You don’t have to take it literally :)

Well that's pretty right, here indoneisa.😂 I don't know the exact reason, but i think they are just want to know what other people think about their food, or maybe its just casual way to open a conversation🤔

It means how are you basically. Being healthy is always crucial ever since. No foods means no energy technically speaking.
