Let me introduce you a Slovak Easter traditions :)

On Easter

Monday the men and boys will visit their women relatives and friends. They take a handmade wooden whips, which they use to beat the girls on legs and butts, arms and backs, buckets of deadass cold water they splash over girls so they will stay "happy ,healthy and beautiful" the whole year. Really enjoyable! If there is not a bucket available, they take girls to their bathroom and use shower head, or they will throw them to the stream 🙃 ( 'luckily' it happens only in villages) And what do we do as women? In the past the men received from girls a ribbon for their whip (more ribbons = more beaten girls = bigger success ) and a hand painted egg shells 🙂 Nowadays they receive !!money!! and chocolate ❤️

Do Slovak girls love this tradition? Absolutely not 🙃 Thanks god for this panini as we are not allowed to visit each other and travel to different city areas 😂
