Meaning (1): To stop

being angry with someone

Example: “They had a very big argument yesterday but they’ve made up now which is lovely. Best friends forever!”

Meaning (2): Apply cosmetics

Example: “Hey sweetie, can you help me make up tonight. I’ve got a hot date with this guy, he’s totally handsome.”

Meaning (3): Invent a story

Example: “My mate said he saw a kangaroo flying in the sky but he made it all up! I couldn’t believe it!”

    @Ryan So, she asked me to help her making up for her date tonight. But eventually, word by word, it became clear that whole this story about the new boyfriend she just made up! Now I am mad at her and it will take a time for us to make up 😤
