I try to find Bun Dau mam Tom in every vietnamese restaurants

in Montreal, but none serves this. so disappointed because all of the workers know what I am talking about but they tell me that they dont cook that food in Montreal ( a city with many vietnamese immigrants).

    I think it's easy cook. But, where you're living not enough ingredients.

    Fried tofu and boiled meat are easy to cook. But it's hard to find shrimp paste there.

    The dish is originally from the North, even it is hard to find authentic one in the South or Central areas of Vietnam. So it makes sense if most of Vietnamese immigrants there from the South. Moreover not many foreigners can stand for that shrimp fermented sauce

    @Mickael lol I am now craving it too 😂 do you know that most of the restaurants or vender just open through lunch time only, it’s hard to find a good one in the evening. I’m speaking from Hanoi, Vietnam haha
