Can someone help me with understanding how to use 把 and 被 I’ve

been taking notes on it but I still don’t understand

Well，把actually means somebody does something to some object. （for example:我把苹果吃了I ate the apple ）And被means something are finished by you. （for example:苹果被我吃了The apple was eaten by me）I hope you understand.
