Answer me this:

A couple was to run off and get married in secret from their family.. The girl's father found out and forbid her to marry her fiancé.

Since the finacé's Family didnt yet know of their plans, the woman sent something to her fiancé as a clue of her father's wishes that she could not marry him.

What did she send?

    @Dép good guess. Not the answer for this riddle. In 20-questions, we ask is it plant, rock or animal. So "plant" can mean many things which grow.

    @Sviatoslaw i know a "weft" as the threading passed by a shuttle in looming fabric. But I think it is also sometimes a lock of hair? Its a term used in weaving hair also. So i didnt know what you had intended to mean.
