It's weird to me that people still find it funny or strange that

a foreigner likes 트로트 and 판소리 etc..

When Koreans like The Beatles or jimi hendrix or outdated black and white movies etc, we think its really cool

Such people might lack love for their own culture. And Probably they are unlikely to agree with cultural relativism. They might think their culture is bad and your country's culture is good. So they may find it strange that you like their culture.
