Hello, how are you today?

I visited the city today, because

I needed to go shopping. The city that is near me is rather small.

There is a cathedral that is well-known there. It is gonna very steep hill! I was scared when I walked down the hill.

How do you say "city" and "cathedral" in Japanese? Please let me know!

The word "city" is usually translated 市(し)or 街(まち)depending on contexts. The word "cathedral" means 大聖堂(だいせいどう)in Japanese.
