English Time-Expressing your general preference (Part 1)

When

talking about general preferences about food and other things, you can use this:

I like my [______] (adjective / with _______)

Examples:
I like my coffee sweet and creamy.
I like my coffee with milk and sugar.

I like my steak medium rare.
I like my steak with a glass of red wine.

I like my t-shirts pressed.
I like my room cool.
I like my beer ice cold in a cold glass.

I went to a farm and bought some dill, bell peppers, and zucchini. I like my dill young usually but this one had flowers. I like my zucchini small and sweet but this was only $0.99! I had to try and checkout the taste. It was good.

“My” をつけるのとつけないのではどんな違いがあるのですか? I saw the dill with flower first time 😳 I rarely see purple peppers 🌶 What are you going to cook with them?

@koo 良い質問!😄Myつける事のはちょっとストレスがある。付けない時… I like coffee blackはあまり言わない。やっぱりI like black coffeeと言う。映画の面白いキャラクターはI like coffee blackのパターンを使うかもけど、皆は普通につかわない。 I made some boiled potatoes with the dill. I think I’ll make some ice cream with the rest.
