outside. 🌄

On Monday, after the rain, I was very anxious to get outside. I stopped by the lake and I checked on the garden club flowers of course. There is always something new. The peonies have started blooming. The sun came out from behind the clouds for a little while. Time for a few shots!

I walked around the lake, checked on the birds, and headed to my next destination, which I will talk about in another post.

It's really an interesting time here, it has been raining a lot, pretty much some rainfall daily for at least the last week. This is a semi-arid area that sometimes gets no significant precipitation for weeks and things dry out very easily with low humidity. So it is very nice to see everything growing and the grass being so green. It won't last, so we may as well enjoy it now. It is certainly better weather than what a lot of the Western states are seeing right now.
